Broncos decline 4-year, $48M option on LT Russell Okung

The Broncos on Thursday opted not to exercise their four-year, $48 million option on inconsistent left tackle Russell Okung, Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported.

In his one season in Denver, Okung was one of several offensive linemen Cheap Germany Soccer Jerseys who struggled as the Broncos missed the playoffs the season after winning the Super Bowl.

Darren McFadden could still have a future with the Cowboys.

Despite preparing to hit free agency after missing the majority of last season in Dallas, the veteran running back thinks the team may be interested in keeping him on the roster.

“I kinda get the feel that they wouldn’t mind keeping me,” McFadden told SiriusXM NFL Radio, via The Dallas Morning News. “I was raised in Arkansas. I live here now. Set up my home here in Texas. I’m a Cowboys fan regardless of whether they decide to bring me back or not.”

McFadden, who broke his elbow trying to save his cellphone from dropping in June, was limited to just three regular-season games and one playoff game after healing from surgery.

Simms’ performance against the Broncos was the single-most efficient game in Super Bowl history. He started the game completing his first seven passes, including going 6 for 6 for 69 yards and a touchdown on the Giants’ first drive. After a down second quarter (he only went 5 for 8, the amateur) he followed by completing 10 of 10 passes in the second half for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

He threw three touchdowns to three different receivers, and his 88.0 completion percentage and 150.9 quarterback rating are still-standing Super Bowl records.
