Sidney Crosby injury timeline: Latest concussion adds to troubling history for NHL’s biggest star

Here’s a look back on Crosby’s road to recovery following each of his three previous concussions:

Three stars

3. Mark Stone, Senators — Stone flies under the radar as an offensive difference maker but scored his third goal of the series and fourth in the playoffs and added an assist in the win. Stone missed time with a concussion in the regular season but he’s healthy and has been perhaps the Sens’ most important forward.

2. Craig Anderson, Senators — All the credit to Anderson, who put his series struggles aside and stopped 37 of 39 Rangers shots in a big-time clinching performance. It’s the 18th playoff win of Anderson’s career, tying Ray Emery for second in franchise history.

1. Erik Karlsson, Senators — Karlsson is the first defenseman in Senators history to score multiple game-winning goals in a single postseason.

Game 7s galore! A pair of wacky series rightly will be decided in winner-take-all fashion on what promises to be a great night for hockey fans. First the Penguins and Capitals (7:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN) in the nation’s capital, then the Oilers and Ducks (10 p.m. ET, NBCSN) in Anaheim. Neither home team is known for having a great recent track record in Game 7s, so the notion that anything can and probably will happen is alive and well.

Rather than just continuing at that pace and trying to go short side on Cheap Bruins Jerseys goalie Kari Lehtonen, the left-handed winger went for the spectacular. He saw Mathieu Schneider as the lone defenseman, scooted past the 39-year-old with a quick little forehand-to-backhand toe drag that forced Lehtonen off his line. Instead of impatiently trying to backhand it past a sprawling Lehtonen, Hossa realized the time he Cheap Authentic Soccer Jerseys had, brought the puck back onto his forehand, and gave it a quick little tap-in to the net.
